According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Edinson Cavani turned down a switch to Inter Milan during the recent summer transfer window. The Uruguay international wasn’t in favour of the move as he wanted to see out his contract with French giants Paris Saint-Germain. His deal is set to expire at the end of the current season, but he’s always been adamant that he wants to remain faithful to PSG for as long as they committed to have him there.

Cavani has made it clear in the past that he would entertain the idea of a move away, but the right deal has never been on the table. Whether or not Inter would be willing to come back in for him remains to be seen, but either way, PSG should soak up every minute they’ve got left with him as he prepares for what could be the final big move of his career.
