Celtic are interested in signing Tawanda Maswanhise from Motherwell in the January transfer window, according to Sports Boom. The defending Scottish Premiership champions are keen on a deal for Kasper Hogh, but Norwich City are said to be leading the race for the 25-year-old FK Bodo/Glimt striker.
With Josh Sargent eager to move to Major League Soccer, Norwich want to sign Hogh before the January transfer window closes next week. Cetltic are also keen on Hogh, but the Hoops have Maswanhise as a back-up option should they fail to land the Danish forward.
Rangers have also been monitoring Maswanhise, who has played 17 times for Zimbabwe. Maswanhise has been on the books of Motherwell since the summer of 2024 and is under contract at the Scottish club until 2027, with the option for another year. The 23-year-old has scored 22 goals and given six assists in 62 appearances for Motherwell so far in his career.
