Chelsea newcomer Timo Werner surprised by the size of Brighton and Hove Albion defenders (Video)

Chelsea didn’t exactly shine in their Premier League opener away to Brighton and Hove Albion on Monday, but they managed to get the job done by winning 1-3. The first goal of the game was scored by Jorginho from the spot, after newcomer Timo Werner forced Seagulls goalkeeper Matt Ryan to bring him down inside the box.

But speaking after the game, the former RB Leipzig striker admitted he had never played against such defenders before.
