Chelsea offer Hazard a record deal

Chelsea have been hard pressed by Real Madrid when it comes to keeping the services of Eden Hazard. Like any other club with ambition, they are reluctant to lose their star player, one who has been instrumental in everything they’ve won since his arrival in 2012 – two Premier League titles and a Europa League trophy, along with one FA Cup and one League Cup.

Various speculations have been coming out over the recent months about his future with his contract expiring in 2020 and Real interested in his signature, often fueled by the player himself with indefinite statements. Recently, reports in several Spanish outlets claimed Hazard had already agreed a move to Santiago Bernabeu.

But now, Sky Sports say Chelsea have prepared an offer which, if accepted, would make the Belgian the highest paid player in the club’s history. Manager Maurizzio Sarri already confirmed there was an offer on the table ready to be signed, and it was only up to Hazard to make his mind up.
