Chelsea are interested in signing Nico Paz from Como in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping tabs on the former Real Madrid prospect, but Chelsea are believed to be in a better position to make an offer.
It has been reported that Chelsea, who are aiming to finish in the top five of the Premier League table and have also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Conference League, are willing to make an offer of €30 million for Paz. However, Real Madrid could spoil Chelsea’s plan, as the reigning Spanish and European champions have a buy-back clause in Paz’s contract that they could exercise.
Paz joined Como from Madrid in the summer of 2024. The Argentina international attacking midfielder has been a revelation in Italy and has been a star for Como this season. The 20-year-old playmaker has scored eight goals and given seven assists in 30 Serie A appearances for Cesc Fabregas’s side this campaign.
