Christensen back to Gladbach?

Andreas Christensen has been on the books at Chelsea his whole career so far, but in 2015 he went on a two-year loan to Borussia Monchengladbach and was voted their Player of the Season for 2015/16. He featured very prominently in Chelsea’s line-up during 2017/18 under Antonio Conte, but this term, since Maurizzio Sarri took over, he made only seven appearances, none of which came in the Premier League.

There has been a lot of talk about his future lately. A few days ago, the Mirror reported that Chelsea rejected an offer from Barcelona for the Danish international, but now the Express claim another loan move to Monchengladbach may be on the cards. The Bundesliga side have apparently already made their move to make it happen.

AC Milan are also keeping their eye on the situation.

Chelsea aren’t interested in a sale, however, and that, coupled with his apparent dissatisfaction at Stamford Bridge at the moment, may well work in favor of Borussia’s loan-deal proposal.
