(GSM) – Stephane Dalmat is set to join Stade Rennes after the French club agreed a transfer deal with Sochaux for him. The former Tottenham Hotspur player will officially make the switch subject to a medical on Monday.
Dalmat joined Sochaux from Bordeaux for free in 2007 and he will now sign a two-year deal with Rennes.
Having played 91 times for Sochaux and scoring seven goals, he will now move away from Sochaux as the club has announced on its website.
The 31-year-old French midfielder has played with a host of European clubs, including Internazionale, Marseille, Paris St Germain, Racing Santander and Toulouse.
