Denis Suarez returns to Barcelona

Denis Suarez has returned to Barcelona after his groin injury ended his loan spell at Arsenal.

It’s fair to say that his stint at the Emirates was unsuccessful. He made only six appearances for the Gunners ssince January and hasn’t scored a single goal, which indicates that he struggled to adapt to the demands of English football as well as manager Unai Emery’s tactical ideas.

As reported by Sport, presuming Arsenal don’t exercise their option to buy, Suarez will join the Barcelona squad after he recovers from injury, and his goal is to be 100% fit for the summer and the pre-season preparations, during which his future is likely to be decided – whether it’s finding a new club or pushing for a place at Nou Camp.

The 25-year-old himself took to social media to explain the problem, and said that the injury he sustained in the Europa League clash against BATE Borisov finally became too much to play on through.
