Dortmund slap £40m price tag on Reus

Borussia Dortmund have told Manchester United manager David Moyes has been told that he will need to break the bank and pay up to £40m if he wants to sign Marco Reus, according to the Mail Online.

The champions current selection of midfielders have faced criticism for much of this season, and landing one of the most exciting prospects in European football would give a much needed boost to a campaign that, despite some positive results in recent weeks, has seen them fall short of their rivals thus far.

United, who won the title by eleven points last season, are eight points off the top of the top of the Premier League and six behind fourth place Chelsea.

They travel to Hull City this afternoon, looking to record what would be a fifth successive victory in all competitions.

Moyes’ men are priced at 8/13 to take all three points from their trip to the KC Stadium, where they have won on their past two visits.
