Douglas Costa wants Serie A return

“I would like to return to Italy, a country that I appreciate very much. Let’s see what happens. I still have a contract with Juve.”

Douglas Costa has confirmed that he hopes to return to Juventus once his loan spell with Bayern Munich comes to an end.

Costa has failed to receive the game time that many believed he’d get when he first made his way over to the Bundesliga, and there are many questions as to why that’s the case. Above all else, though, many neutral fans just want to see him play to the best of his abilities – and there haven’t been many openings for him to do that with Bayern.

At the age of 30 some believe he’s now going to be heading on a downward trajectory but regardless of which way you choose to look at it, the whole loan situation does seem to have been a waste of time.
