Competition: Irish Premier Division

Market: Dundalk win

Odds: 17/20 @ Bet 365

Already reclaiming their domestic crown with time to spare, runaway champions Dundalk will make the trip to Dalymount Park on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Bohemians may have managed to scrape a 1-0 win off of Cork last weekend, it does not cover what has been a lackluster end to the year for Keith Long’s men. Now in a real battle to try and secure a lucrative third-place finish come the end of the month, the Bohs have recorded just a pair of victories in their last seven appearances, including a 6-1 hammering against Dundalk when the two sides met back in August. If the hosts are to pull off a huge upset on Friday, then Long will be calling on some drastic improvements on home soil. They have now lost two of their last three matches in Dublin, including a 2-1 defeat against Waterford last month.

As for the visitors, already reclaiming their Premier Division title with plenty of time to spare, Dundalk are dreaming off another domestic sweep this season. Picking up a 1-0 win over Derry last weekend, the Reds have remarkably lost just two of their 33 matches this year and the mood around Oriel Park continues to soar. Now enjoying a 13-match winning run that stems all the way back to a Europa League defeat back in August, Head Coach Vinny Perth will be most impressed by his side’s performances on their travels. Dundalk have won their last eight consecutive matches on the road.
