Emotions run high as London Stadium says goodbye to retiring West Ham icon Mark Noble (Video)

Apart from brief loan spells with Hull City and Ipswich Town early on, Mark Noble has never played for any club other than West Ham United, making a total of 549 appearances, scoring 63 goals and assisting his teammates 61 times. He could play for the club once more, when they face Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex on Sunday.

The 35-year-old midfielder has announced he will be retiring when his contract expires at the end of the season, which means he has already played his last match at the London Stadium. It was certainly a memorable performance, as the Hammers held off Premier League title defenders Manchester City to a 2-2 draw.

The club, the visitors, and everybody else at the stadium paid a tribute to a player who will be remembered in the English top flight for a long, long time.
