England international rejects a move to Turkey

West Ham midfielder Scott Parker has rejected an offer from Fenerbahce after the Turkish giants had a £10 million offer accepted by the Hammers.

The Hammers are eager to sell one of their highest earners following the relegation to Championship and they slapped £10 million price tag on the England international.

Free-spending Fenerbahce have matched the asking price with their opening bid, but the player has rejected a move to Turkey.

The 30-year-old is happily settled in England and has no intention of leaving the country even though he is keen to leave West Ham.

The problem is that no English club have yet made an offer for Parker, meaning that the England international could soon return to West Ham’s pre-season training.

Tottenham’s Harry Redknapp has already spoken of his desire to sign Parker, but Spurs have yet to table an official bid for the experienced midfielder.
