Manchester United have been handed an FA Cup third round trip to Championship club Southampton, while Liverpool travel to Preston and Arsenal host Plymouth.
Like United, Liverpool and Arsenal are both facing Championship teams, but their fellow big-four club Chelsea have an easier tie at home to League One Southend. FA Cup holders Portsmouth were drawn at home to Bristol City

Barrow, also a Conference team, will travel to Premier League Middlesbrough and fellow non-league club Eastwood Town, fifth in the Northern Premier Division, travel to Notts County or Kettering.
