Eriksen too on Real’s radar again

According to the Independent‘s chief football writer Miguel Delaney, Zinedine Zidane, who has been named Real Madrid head coach for the second time following the sacking of Santiago Solari, has received a promise of a £300 million transfer kitty for the upcoming summer transfer window, and apart from Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Christian Eriksen of Tottenham Hotspur is also a top target for the Frenchman.

Reports claim that Real have already made a move for Hazard. The Belgian is expected to deliver crucial attacking influence with Cristiano Ronaldo gone since last summer, and Gareth Bale also likely to leave soon. Midfielder Luka Modrić is another name seen as likely to be crossed off the squad list, and this is apparently where Eriksen comes in.

The 27-year-old Dane has been the subject of speculation for a while and Spurs haven’t been able to get him to sign a new deal, and with his current one expiring in 2020, they might be reluctant to allow him to enter its final year.
