According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Everton are interested in the possibility of purchasing Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic during the summer transfer window. Fulham aren’t all too interested in the idea of selling the 24 year old, but he really wants to be playing Premier League football next season. As we know that won’t be possible with the Cottagers, following their relegation down into the second tier. Everton want to add a new forward into their ranks in order to help them make a push for the European spots, with Mitrovic being located high towards the top of their wish list. Mitrovic was a vital part of Fulham’s promotion campaign, and had a solid campaign this season by managing to hit double figures on the goalscoring charts.
Everton are set to have a really busy transfer window regardless of whether or not Mitrovic moves to Goodison Park, but it certainly seems as if he’s one of their priorities.
