Liverpool beat Manchester City in what was widely perceived as the game of the season in the Premier League on Sunday at Anfield, with Bernardo Silva’s late goal turning out no more than consolation for the defending champions who had already been three goals down, courtesy of strikes from Fabinho, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Fabinho’s sixth-minute opener was truly a missile.
