PSV were crowned Eredivisie champions for the 27th time after second-placed Feyenoord were held to a 0-0 draw by lowly Volendam.
Robin van Persie’s side knew victory was a must at Kras Stadion on Sunday, but they were unable to deliver, with PSV’s 17-point lead at the top now unassailable.
A day earlier, PSV came out on top in a dramatic seven-goal thriller with Utrecht, with Couhaib Driouech scoring a 94th-minute winner to snatch a stunning 4-3 victory.
Artem Stepanov and Gjivai Zechiel had given Utretch a two-goal lead after 13 minutes, though Ismael Saibari was able to reduce the deficit in the 21st minute.
The game turned again early in the second half as two goals in four minutes from Saibari and Guus Til put PSV ahead, but Jesper Karlsson levelled eight minutes from time.
However, in the fourth minute of stoppage time, Driouech collected the ball on the left before cutting inside and firing off a shot that somehow squeezed past Vasilios Barkas.
