Fiorentina have completed the capture of midfielder Houssine Kharja after agreeing a transfer fee with Genoa.
The Serie A side have announced the signing on their official website earlier today.
The Moroccan arrives to Artemio Franchi in a co-ownership deal thought to be worth around €3 million.
The player has signed a two-year deal with Fiorentina with an option to extend his contract for another year.
Viola showed interest in Kharja as soon as Genoa made the player available for sale following his return from loan at Inter.
The 29-year-old is expected to replace Ricardo Montolivo at Artemio Franchi, with the Italy international likely to leave before the transfer window closes.
