Free spending Malaga keeping tabs on Spain international

La Liga side Malaga have shown interest in Villarreal winger Santi Cazorla, according to AS.

Los Boquerones have reportedly already offered €15 million for the Spain international and are willing to go until €20 million to get their man.

The La Rosaleda outfit are looking to establish themselves as genuine top table team after ambitious Sheikh Abdulah Al-Thani completed the club takeover and are looking to continiue their spending spree.

Having already acquired the likes of Van Nistelrooy, Toulalan, Mathijsen, Monreal and Joaquin among others, the Andalucians are hoping to add Santi Cazorla to the list.

Villarreal are now willing to part from their star player, but a hefty offer could make the club chiefs change their minds, especially if Giuseppe Rossi stays at El Madrigal.

Malaga are also interested in Deportivo keeper Daniel Aranzubia, who should be available at a cut-back price after La Coruna got relegated to the second division.
