Hakim Ziyech nears FC Porto switch

FC Porto are in pole position to sign Twente midfielder Hakim Ziyech, according to A Bola.

The Dragons have been impressed with the Moroccan’s performances in Dutch Eredivisie and they plan to take advantage of Twente’s financial problems to lure the 22-year-old to Estadio do Dragao.

The Tukkers reportedly need to raise around €6 million in a short period of time to avoid additional problems and they have no choice but to cash in on their prized asset.

Hakim Ziyech has been one of Eredivisie’s star performers for the second season running and his stats since joining Twente are nothing short of impressive.

Namely, the talented footballer has managed impressive 22 goals and 21 assists in just 49 league appearances for the Tukkers, so no wonder FC Porto are keen on his services.

Ziyech has been linked with several top clubs in the past, but there has been surprisingly little interest in his signature of late.
