Hazard promises Chelsea return

Having been told by a Chelsea fan that he’s being missed at Stamford Bridge, Eden Hazard promised to return there once his time with Real Madrid is over. The video of the encounter was published by Marca.

The Belgian forward arrived at Chelsea for €35 million from Lille back in 2012, as a 21-year-old talent, and during the seven years he spent with the London club he became their arguably biggest star. He played a total of 352 games in all competitions in the blue shirt, scoring 110 goals and laying on 92 assists. He helped them win two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and League Cup each, and two Europa League trophies, before completing the move to Real in the summer this year for €100 million.

His time at the Santiago Bernabeu hasn’t been as good as both he and the club would have expected. He understandably took some time to adapt to the different aspects of La Liga compared to the Premier League, and he’s currently out of action due to a micro-fracture in his right ankle which he suffered in Real’s 2-2 draw against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League in Madrid.
