Hazard to Real completed in “coming days”

Real Madrid and Chelsea are very close to reaching an agreement about the potential transfer of Eden Hazard to the Spanish capital, Marca claim.

The Spanish outlet say the deal will be wrapped up in the “coming days”. Soon, they add, the Belgian will travel to Madrid and sign a six-year contract with the reigning Champions League holders.

Real’s interest in Hazard has hardly been kept a secret ever since their struggle for goals began, following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus. Neymar, currently the most expensive player in the world, and Kylian Mbappe, the second most expensive, have also been linked with filling the vacant Ronaldo role at Real, but given the financial might of Paris Saint-Germain, it’s hard to imagine any of those two deals done in the near future.

Hazard is seen as a great player by Real head coach Zinedine Zidane, and the pair of them don’t hide the admiration they have for one another.
