Hazard to Real edges closer

Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has long been mooted for a Real Madrid switch in the near future, and while he has ruled out a January exit, he is preparing to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer, according to Marca.

Despite their confidence upon the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus last summer, Real have been struggling for goals this season. There was a strong belief that the likes of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio would be able to fill the void left by the Portuguese superstar, but injuries combined with poor form have been thwarting them heavily. Hazard is seen as the perfect solution to their problem.

Even though the Belgian is reluctant to speak clearly about it, not wishing to cause a mid-season stir at Chelsea, the Spanish outlet are very confident he will force the move in the summer, going even as far as to say that there’s no doubt in his mind about where he wants to play next season. Apparently Real Madrid has been his dream since his Lille days.
