Higuain having Chelsea medical

Gonzalo Higuain is set to have his medical in London today (Wednesday) ahead of completing a move to Chelsea, according to Sky Sports. He is set to arrive to the British capital at some time during the day, after AC Milan agreed a deal to sign Krzysztof Piatek from Genoa on the previous evening.

Having started out at River Plate, Higuain moved to Real Madrid in January 2007, where he spent the following six and a half years. During that time, he scored 121 goals in 264 appearances for Los Blancos, and won three La Liga titles and one Copa del Rey trophy. Following a three-year spell with Napoli, he signed for Juventus in 2016. Two seasons later, his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo arrived to Turin. Higuain found himself surplus for requirements and joined Milan on loan, and he is set to play the second half of the season for Chelsea, with various reports claiming Alvaro Morata will be leaving Stamford Bridge to join Atletico Madrid.
