Howe wouldn’t sell Wilson

“In my opinion, and it’s just my opinion, I wouldn’t sell at any price but I’m the manager of the team trying to create the best team that I can.

“We desperately want to take the team forward and to do that we have got to keep our best players.

“He (Wilson) is a very important member of the team. He has unique attributes that really complement what we do here.”

Those are the words of Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, who clearly doesn’t want to see Callum Wilson leave the club. The all-star forward has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, but it seems as if the biggest takeaway from this is that he doesn’t appear to be the one who is fully in control of who stays and who leaves the club.

Either way, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not Wilson remains at the club beyond the January transfer window.
