Hull complete Jelavic deal

Hull have completed the signing of Nikica Jelavic from Everton, according to Sky Sports.

The Croatia international had fallen out of favour at Goodison Park, having started just five Premier League games this season following the loan arrival of Romelu Lukaku.

He moved to Mereseyside in January 2012, and had an immediate impact scoring nine times in just thirteen league appearances, though he has struggled since, managing just seven in his subsequent forty-six outings.

The 28 year old moves to the KC Stadium for on a three-and-a-half year deal for a club record fee of around £6.5m, with a further £1m set to be paid to Everton should he help the Tigers avoid relegation.

He is in line to make his debut when Steve Bruce’s men take on Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon, where the former Rangers man can be backed at 15/2 to open the scoring.
