“I know I could still make a difference, in Italy and in other countries. I’d do better than the players who are there now. My contract expires in December and I don’t know what will happen after that”.

Those are the words of LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who continues to tease fans by suggesting that he is going to entertain a return to European football – when in reality, he seems to be fairly content with life in Los Angeles.

Major League Soccer, at this point in Zlatan’s career, seems to be the most comfortable option for him and there’s nothing wrong with that. The Swede has already had a phenomenal career, and he deserves to go out in whatever manner he sees fit.

However, it certainly seems like all of this talk about a move back to Europe is nothing more than smoke and mirrors as Galaxy look ahead to the MLS Cup playoffs.
