Looking to reclaim their spot at the top of League One, Ipswich will make the trip to Rochdale’s Crown Oil Arena on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Rochdale may have shown some real signs of life in the middle of October, it appears that Brian Barry-Murphy’s men have come crashing back down to earth. Suffering a 2-1 defeat at home against Bristol Rovers over the weekend, the Dale have now been hit with back-to-back defeats, including a 3-0 hammering against Oxford heading into November. There is no doubt that fans around the Crown Oil Arena will be calling one some improvements on home soil. Including their defeat against Bristol Rovers on Saturday, Rochdale have won just a pair of their last eight matches in Greater Manchester.

As for the visitors, making a much-needed return to winning ways away at relegation scrappers Southend and landing a 3-1 win in Essex, Ipswich have once again been handed the chance to reclaim their spot at the top of the League One standings. Seen to be one of the leading contenders to secure a Championship return come next year, the Blues have also won five of their six matchups away from Portman Road. Led by leading goalscorers Kayden Jackson and James Norwood who have already bagged 14 goals between them entering November, we’re backing Tuesday’s guests to come out on top in midweek.
