Jon Toral set for Rangers switch

Spanish daily newspaper AS claims that Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral is set to join Rangers on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old was loaned to Granada in the summer and while he enjoyed a bright start to his career in Spain, the midfielder has seen little playing time since Paco Jemez was sacked.

As a result, his loan deal is set to be cut short, allowing Toral to move to Rangers, who are keen to add the youngster to their ranks.

Arsenal are happy to see the talented footballer move to Ibrox Park, as they want him to be playing on regular basis.

After impressing during loan stints with Brentford and Birmingham City, Toral went on to make six appearances for Granada, scoring one goal.

The attacking midfielder will now get a chance to test his skills in Scottish Premier League, as the deal should be wrapped up in the coming days.
