As Manchester United prepare to take on Juventus in Turin in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, Tuttosport report that the Serie A title holders have made contact with the representatives of Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman’s career has so far been bouncing between Turin and Manchester. He started at United but went to Juventus after only two seasons, and the disappointment in him publicly declared by Sir Alex Ferguson at the time was tangible. In 2016 he returned to Old Trafford as the world’s most expensive player. And now, the 25-year-old’s future has been a subject of speculation for a long time now as reports kept breaking out about his relationship with current United manager Jose Mourinho being broken.
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have heavily been linked with a move for the France international and 2018 World Cup winner, but in Italy they believe he is keen to return to the Old Lady, who have apparently started a project of building a team capable of winning the Champions League.
