Juve want Morata back

Italian title-holders Juventus are interested in bringing Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata back to Turin, according to the Telegraph.

Chelsea’s hopes of Champions League football next season are all but gone after their failure to beat West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, and the list of players reportedly looking for an exit is growing longer. Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard have both been heavily linked with Real Madrid, and now Juventus are ready to offer Morata a path back.

Morata spent two years with the Old Lady, and during that time he frequently voiced his satisfaction with life in Italy. In 2016, Real Madrid exercised their buy-back option for the player, before selling him to Chelsea last summer.

The 2017/18 season has been rather underwhelming for the London Blues, and manager Antonio Conte is very likely to depart as well. It is reasonable to assume Morata would jump the chance to end his England stint and go back to Juventus if the chance is truly presented to him.
