According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Italian giants Juventus are hoping that super-agent Jorge Mendes can assist them with their pursuit of Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez.
The popular Mexican has enjoyed yet another successful season at Molineux, to the point where he has been attracting attention from many top clubs across European football.
Mendes has been at the heart of many deals for Wolves across the last few years, but if he winds up masterminding Jimenez’s departure from the club, you’d have to imagine it will sour the relationship ever so slightly. Then again, if Wolves can get a big enough fee, they may consider it to be a golden opportunity for them to reinvest in some other big names.
The plan would seemingly be for Jimenez to link up with Cristiano Ronaldo, providing the Old Lady with the sort of dominant strike force that they’ve been searching for since the Portuguese sensation first arrived in Turin.
