“I can safely say that I would not leave my position with the Dutch team for any club”.

Those are the words of Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman who has made it crystal clear that he will not be joining Barcelona anytime soon, as reported by Marca. The recent theory has been that he would make the jump over to the Spanish giants in order to replace Ernesto Valverde, who continues to be a source of great debate amongst fans and media members alike.

Koeman has done a great job of helping the Dutch to rise back up to the level they were once at just a few short years ago, and after failing to qualify for the last two major international tournaments, it’s safe to say there was a lot of pressure on his shoulders.

It doesn’t really seem as if that’s the case anymore, though, as fans have started to believe that Koeman can lead his squad towards some great things at Euro 2020 and beyond.
