With the chance to leapfrog Juventus to top spot in Serie A, Inter Milan will make the trip to relegation scrappers Brescia on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, while the mood in Brescia’s camp would have been on a high after ending their eight-year Serie A exile over the summer, it has been a worrying start for fans around the Stadio Mario Rigamonti. Suffering a 3-1 defeat away at Genoa over the weekend, Le Rondinelle have lost three of their last four appearances and are without a win since the 21st of September. Ending the weekend still in the drop zone and many tipping Eugenio Corini’s men for an immediate Serie B return this season, a huge part of Brescia’s continued issues has come down to their performances on home soil. Including back-to-back defeats against Bologna and Juventus, Tuesday’s hosts are yet to record a victory at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti heading into November.

As for the visitors, while former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte would have been disappointed to have seen his side suffer a 2-2 draw at home against Parma over the weekend, it has been a very eye-catching start for Inter Milan. Handed the chance to leapfrog Juve to poll position in Italy’s top-flight, one man to watch out for in midweek will be leading marksman, Lautaro Martínez. Bagging a brace against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last week, the 22-year-old sensation has now bagged three in his last three and has also found the net in back-to-back matches outside of the San Siro. With Brescia so publically struggling entering November, we’re backing Martínez to extend on his tally in midweek.
