According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Lazio are confident in their ability to complete a deal to sign Manchester City legend David Silva. The 34-year-old is set to say goodbye to the club whenever their UEFA Champions League journey comes to an end this season, and it seems like a trip to Italy could be next on the agenda.
Talks were initially not going particularly well, but now, positive signs are beginning to emerge.
Silva is widely considered to be one of the best foreign stars to ever step foot onto a Premier League pitch, but instead of living out the last few years of his career in China or the United States, it appears as if he still wants to challenge himself.
He’s capable of running circles around some of the world’s best midfielders and we all know that to be true, but can he still do that in Italy?
