Leeds are making big plans for the summer! Provided they finally return to the Premier League and join England’s elite from 2019-20 onwards, this could be a really interesting summer transfer window for the Whites. Marcelo Bielsa should be at the helm of everything and now it looks like he has found a player he could need next season.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Argentine coach is interested in signing Nahitan Nandez from Boca Juniors. Nandez is 23-years old and plays in central midfield. He is a regular Uruguay international and he played a big part in their success at the World Cup, reaching quarter-final before being eliminated by France.
If Leeds would be able to sign him this summer from the Argentine giants, then Leeds could be in for a real coup, getting a full international at just 23 to improve their midfield. Of course, failure to secure promotion to the Premier League would drastically make their chances smaller, as there are several Serie A clubs looking at Nandez, including Sampdoria and Fiorentina.
