Leeds United target Yaser Asprilla

Leeds United are interested in signing Yaser Asprilla from Girona in the summer transfer window, according to Sports Boom. The Premier League club reportedly view the Colombia international winger as a replacement for Wilfried Gnonto.

Asprilla joined Girona from Watford in the summer of 2024. The 22-year-old moved to Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray on loan in the January transfer window on a loan deal, with a conditional obligation to make it permanent. The young winger has made five appearances for Galatasaray.

There is a chance that Leeds could lose Gnonto at the end of the season. Juventus are keen admirers of the Italian winger, with AS Roma and Lazio also monitoring him. Gnonto is not a regular in the Leeds head coach Daniel Farke’s side at the moment and could be persuaded to leave Elland Road for good in the summer transfer window.
