With it now confirmed that Lucien Favre will be taking over at Borussia Dortmund, the former Nice boss will travel to the Banc of California Stadium to meet a high-flying Los Angeles FC side.

For former USA national coach Bob Bradley, since joining the MLS’ latest franchise, Los Angeles FC have enjoyed a very impressive debut season in the Western Conference. Although The Whites are coming off the back of a 2-1 loss to Portland Timbers, the hosts now hold the second best-attacking stats in the division and are yet to be beaten at the Banc of California Stadium this year. One man to watch for the hosts could be Mexican international Carlos Vela, since joining Los Angeles at the start of the year, the 29-year-old has seven goals so far and now has two in his last two.

As for Borussia Dortmund, the Yellow and Blacks will be hoping that former Nice boss Lucien Favre can be the man to turn their fortunes around. After a disappointing year both in the Bundesliga and in Europe, the former Champions League finalists could only just secure a fourth spot finish with their goal difference. Now coming off the back of a 4-4 draw with German third-tier side Zwickau, Dortmund have now managed to win one of their last six matches in all competitions and more ominous for the visitors is that they have now shipped 10 goals in their last four outings.
