Man City to enter Grealish race?

Jack Grealish of Aston Villa has long been a reported target for Manchester United, and the fact that he publicly reaffirmed his commitment to Villa for the rest of the season, coupled with the fact that United signed Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon this winter, reportedly doesn’t mean that they’e given up. He apparently remains a priority for them for the summer, but now it seems they’ll have serious competition in the form of neighbours Manchester City.

After 25 rounds in this season’s Premier League roller coaster, City trail rivals Liverpool by 22 points, and according to the Mirror, manager Pep Guardiola will have a clear-out in regards of his stars which he feels are under performing. David Silva has already confirmed he’ll be leaving at the end of the campaign with his contract running out, but it seems he won’t be the only one.

That will, of course, mean a number of incoming deals as well, and Grealish has been marked by the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss as a possibility in that area.
