Man United set for Pogba & Costa swap?

According to a report from Tuttosport, Manchester United are open to the idea of a trade involving Paul Pogba. The Frenchman has been linked with a move back to Juventus for a long time now, and this deal would indeed see him return to the Italian champions. In return, however, Douglas Costa would make his way to Old Trafford in a part exchange, with the 28 year old’s future also being in doubt.

Costa has been with Juventus on a permanent basis since signing from Bayern Munich last year, but he hasn’t quite been able to have the desired impact. He certainly had an effective run with the club during his loan spell, but he hasn’t been able to replicate that.

United, on the other hand, are flying under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Some would question why Pogba would still want to leave the club given Jose Mourinho has now left, but perhaps it wasn’t all about the supposed Jose rift after all.
