Man Utd and Man City linked with Exequiel Palacios

Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in signing Exequiel Palacios from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window, according to Fussball Daten.

There is interest in Palacios from Juventus and Inter Milan as well, while Saudi Pro League clubs, Al Nassr and Al Ahli, are keen on the 27-year-old Argentina international midfielder, too.

Bayer are said to demand at least €50 million for the former River Plate star.

The report in the German news outlet has claimed: ‘Palacios is considered an ideal candidate for the need for a player with high pressing intensity and elitist passing quality in Pep Guardiola’s system.

‘Meanwhile, United are preparing to feel for the player.

‘Italy’s tactical game structure has a perfect harmony with Palacios’ style of play.

‘It is claimed that Juventus could knock on the door at Leverkusen with a barter for Manuel Locatelli or a money-oriented offer.’
