It looks like Bournemouth are very close to getting relegated from the Premier League. Eddie Howe’s side has three points less than the last team sitting in front of the relegation zone with just one match for them to play, with their rivals having two. The return to Championship might be coming after years spent in the top flight, but apart from losing that status, Bournemouth are looking at losing some of their players.
The Guardian are now reporting that Manchester City are looking set to bring Nathan Ake from Bournemouth in this summer’s transfer window. That is a somewhat surprising move considering Ake is a defender in a relegation-bound team, but Pep Guardiola apparently wants to rebuild his defence and he has set sights on Ake.
According to the same report, Man City would be ready to pay 35 million pounds, whilst Chelsea also reimain interested in bringing back their former player.
