Manchester City do not want to lose Bernardo Silva in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport. Silva is out of contract at Man City at the end of next season, and Barcelona are planning to make a bid for the attacking midfielder in the summer of 2025.
There is also interest in Silva from Benfica as well, but Man City believe that only a bid from Barcelona could turn his head. The 30-year-old, who can also play as a winger, has been on the books of the Cityzens since 2017 when he moved from AS Monaco and has won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice, the EFL Cup four times and the UEFA Champions League once.
Silva has scored four goals and given four assists in 43 appearances for Man City so far this season. The Portugal international has scored 70 goals and given 71 assists in 398 appearances for the Cityzens so far in his career.
