Manchester United are planning a blockbuster move for Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the Red Devils are willing to offer as much as €200 million for the Brazil international forward in 2026.
Vinicius Junior is out of contract at Madrid in the summer of 2027, and talks over a new deal have stalled. Although the Brazil international forward publicly apologised for his outburst in El Clasico this week, he left manager Xabi Alonso out of his statement.
The relationship between Vinicius Junior and Alonso is strained, according to reports, and Man Utd plan to use the uncertainty over the Brazilian star’s future to make a play for him. It will be interesting to see what Vinicius Junior and Madrid do should Man Utd make a bid of €200 million for him. The Red Devils are not going to win the Premier League title this season and may not even end up in the top four of the table this campaign.
