Michael Olise happy at Crystal Palace – manager Patrick Vieira

Michael Olise joined Crystal Palace from Reading last summer for a reported fee of just under €10 million, and his performances have been catching the eyes of other clubs in England, as well the rest of the top five leagues in Europe. However, speaking in his latest press conference, Palace boss Patrick Vieira has issued a ‘hands-off’ warning to any potential suitors.

The 20-year-old has gone on to make 25 appearances for the Eagles in all competitions so far since the start of the season, scoring four goals and assisting his teammates eight times. Preferring to play on the right side of the midfield section, he’s also capable of performing well more centrally or on an attacking flank.

“All I can tell you is Michael is a Palace player and we love him,” Vieira said when asked if Olise’s contract, which has over four years left to run, included a release clause.

“He is happy being with us and enjoying his football. Hopefully he will be with us for a long, long period of time.”
