According to Miguel Delaney of the Independent, AC Milan are considering moving for AZ Alkmaar forward Troy Parrott this summer. The Ireland international is expected to be available for transfer for around €25million, with the Eredivisie side accepting his wish to take the next step.
Parrott joined Tottenham Hotspur’s academy at the age of 15, and going through their youth categories, he had loan spells with Millwall, Ipswich Town, MK Dons, Preston North End, and Excelsior in the Netherlands. In 2024, he left the North London club on a permanent basis having made just four senior appearances, to join AZ for €4million.
This season, Parrott’s numbers have been incredible – 27 goals and nine assists in 39 matches in all club competitions, 39 goals in 44 matches for both club and country. Naturally, such an output has sparked plenty of interest. Fulham, Real Betis and Wolfsburg have had interest in his services for a while, but Milan are now considering whether to make a move too.
