According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are interested in signing Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.
This is Rashford’s fourth professional season, and he has so far played only for United. It was Louis van Gaal who gave him his debut in 2015/16, playing as a centre-forward. The youngster fully repaid the Dutchman’s trust and scored eight goals in 18 appearances that season, his best goal-per-game ratio to date. In 2016, Jose Mourinho replaced Van Gaal and signed Zlatan Ibrahimović, and a year later he also brought in Romelu Lukaku. Rashford was turned into a winger, only occasionally appearing as the furthest man upfront.
Lately, there have been reports of his apparent dissatisfaction with his situation and links with a move away have appeared.
However, Milan apparently have made a list of options, and the 21-year-old England international is only one of them. Liverpool’s Divock Origi is also being considered by the Serie A side, who have failed to re-sign Ibrahimović on loan from LA Galaxy.
