Milinković-Savić wants Lazio stay

There have been many reports linking Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić with a move to various destinations, mostly Juventus, Spain and England, but the 23-year-old isn’t even thinking about a move, as he revealed in his exclusive interview with Serbian outlet Sportski Žurnal.

Milinković-Savić says his situation at Lazio is such that he has no reason to think about leaving. He’s fully focused on finishing the season with the Rome club as strongly as possible. Lazio have made a good step towards the Europa League semifinals by beating Salzburg 4-2 at home in the first leg of the quarterfinal, and the midfielder believes their chances to complete the task are substantial. He says his aim is to qualify for next season’s Champions League and to represent Lazio in the elite competition.

After the season ends, his thoughts will turn to the international stage as the Serbia national team prepare for the World Cup. Milinković-Savić believes the team’s hopes at the moment are to progress past the group stage.
