Liverpool are set to sign Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window, according to Florian Plettenberg. The Sky Germany journalist has reported on X that an agreement has been reached between all parties, with a medical for the Hungary international left-back to take place next week.
Plettenberg wrote: “EXCL | Milos #Kerkez to Liverpool is considered to be a done deal!
“A full agreement has now been reached with Bournemouth, as the final details have been clarified. Long-term contract.
“The medical is already being prepared and is expected to take place next week, if everything goes according to plan. #LFC”
Kerkez is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League and has been on the books of Bournemouth since 2023. The imminent arrival of the Hungarian star at Liverpool raises questions about the future of Andy Robertson, who has been linked with a move to La Liga club Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window.
